Balloons and Promises

Mark 10:14-15 “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

This little child is hanging on to this balloon, like we must be when our God gives us a word, a promise, we must hang on to that word tightly as this child is holding on to that balloon. The word is a bit like this balloon that is filled with helium, if the child lets go of the string, that balloon is going to float away never to be seen again.

God, the Creator of all there is has given me words that I had to hang on to, promises that have come to pass simply because I would not let go of His word to me. One has to believe, expecting it to come to fruition. I honestly expect His word to be absolutely true, it matters not what circumstances look like on the ground, that balloon is above it all and I am hanging on.
