1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
Someone said to me that the bible, this book of instructions, is like looking into a mirror. The words here are to show us an image of what we should look like as well as the instructions on how to live a good life full of blessings from above. This book is full of historical data as well as a picture of this great Creator God who loves each and every one of us and cares for us. There is in this book a picture, from Genesis through Zachariah of a Messiah whom we are all waiting for. Some believe He is Yeshua and others are adamant that He is not; thus the above scripture. I have to admit, there is a lot of zeal on both sides of this struggle.
Luke24:5-27 Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
As I said yesterday, He also came to give us some understanding.
