Prophesy 01b

Prophesy 01b-96

Exodus 12:21-24  Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.  And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.  For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.  And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever.

Here we have yet another prophetic sign of Yeshua in the old covenant. This Passover lamb whose blood was applied to the doorposts was to keep the death angel from taking their lives. This death angel against the Egyptians, because of the hardness of Pharaoh’s heart, caused the Hebrews to be driven out of the land of bondage.

In the new covenant scriptures, John the Baptist saw Yeshua coming.

John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

This lamb that John saw was one who would deliver man from the world’s household of death. We live in a body that is dying, this entire world is dying, and every physical life, plant, animal, and human will die but that inner man goes on. The blood of the lamb needs to be applied to the doorposts of our hearts. (There is so much more to this story)
