Revelation 3:15-16 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
We look here, at the outward appearance.
What struck me about this church (congregation) of Laodicea is that it felt that it was rich and wealthy and in need of nothing. But God saw them as wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked, not only lukewarm but uncaring in all the things that our Creator considers important. Only the Lord knows the heart of anyone.
Where do we find ourselves in this story of the seven churches in the Book of Revelation?
