Job 19:23-25 “Oh, that my words were written! Oh, that they were inscribed in a book! That they were engraved on a rock with an iron pen and lead, forever! For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and He shall stand at last on the earth;
I have decided to put all my eggs in one basket contrary to world opinion. However, I am not listening to the voice of world opinion; I am listening to the King of Kings, the Creator God and His Son, Yeshua.
My basket has a name; it is called “The Kingdom of God”. This egg and this basket are examples of a spiritual truth. My life and all that it may be or become is because of my desire to allow the Creator of all there is to be Master of my life. He has put eternity in the heart of man (Ecclesiastes 3:11) I intend to live out that eternity in the arms of pure love and compassion and joy and light. The alternative is far too dark to consider.
It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad. (quote from C. S. Lewis)
