The Eternal Perspective

The Eternal Perspective

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires let him take the water of life freely.

This is a corridor in St Joseph’s Hospital in East Jerusalem and the photo was taken on a Sunday morning.

As I talked with the Lord this morning, I had the sense that I should talk about the boardwalk. I have walked on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA, I have walked on another boardwalk high above the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada, and I have walked on a boardwalk in the city of Jerusalem, Israel. There are other boardwalks in life like fasion, cinema, Hollywood and etc. but all of them are in this very material world. On some of these, there are lots of people walking and taking the time to, reflect, appreciate, exercise, enjoy and meander as it were from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. All walks of life are found on these avenues including this hospital corridor. But, the Lord has another perspective, an eternal one.
