Genesis 22:13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.
John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
This is yet another Genesis scripture foreshadowing the time of Yeshua. A sacrifice of blood is required by our Father, the Creator God, to atone for our sins, our straying from the path of righteousness. Abraham’s son Isaac was demanded as a sacrifice but God gave him a substitute at the last minute. Yeshua has paid the price for all of us, all is needed is our acceptance. Just like in the story of Abraham, he saw the substitute, we also must see the substitute and accept what our Father has provided in our place.
