Matthew 6:31-33 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
In this picture, there is a traffic light and it is amber which indicates caution as things are about to change. It could mean that it will turn red and we are to stop and wait or it could be about to turn green and we may proceed with the direction we are moving in. The Creator is our traffic light in life; He is the only one who knows what is going to take place in the next few seconds as He resides outside of time as we know it. If we leave Him out of the equation, we will be walking or driving in our own strength of understanding, which is flawed without Him, and possibly missing what He has waiting for us.
There is a path laid out for each person on the planet and we are given free will to follow the path to life or ignore the plan and go our own way, choosing what we think is best. I have discovered that this Creator is very, very wise and knows exactly what will bring the greatest good for all concerned. As the scripture says, we need to “Seek first His Kingdom” the rest is His responsibility.
