Genesis 1:1-5 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
As I was contemplating this first chapter yet again, this picture entered my head and I thought to share it as I feel it is very relevant to what this creator did in that 1st instance of creation. It occurs to me that it was a bit like a dead person, there is no pulse, no fluctuation of the heart which we call flat line. And in that flat line, there is no awareness of anything from all outward appearances. This Creator God actually spoke light and life into existence. Wow!
