Genesis 2:1-3 (New Living Translation) So the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed. On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.
It is evident that the Creator had finished all He intended to do, at which point, He stopped and took time to look over all He had done. I guess my only usual question is, how long was that seventh day?. God had finished the plan He had set out to accomplish knowing that all things were in place for the ultimate end of the story to come to fruition. This was plan “A” and there never was or ever will be a plan “B” since what this perfect plan “A” is, is precisely designed to the last syllable of recorded time, as Shakespeare would put it. The question in my mind remains as to what exactly is a day in the heart of God with regard to His Creation and when exactly did “time” as we know it start?
