Overcoming our physical limitations in this world

Overcoming our physical limitations in this world

John 16:32b, 33 And yet I (Yeshua) am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

What exactly does it mean to overcome the world? In my humble opinion, it means to be able to adjust our lives in such a way that the events that surround us daily do not affect us as much as our understanding and agreement with God’s instructions in that manual for life, the Bible. Rather than hating the man of sin, we hate the evil practices and feel sorrow and compassion for the person who has been controlled by the evil one. We are dealing, in these days with spiritual forces that are governing our lives whether we acknowledge it or not. This is the thing that is so important in making sure that one’s name does not get blotted out of the book of life. In the beginning of the book of John Yeshua states that one needs to be born from above in order to, at least “see” Gods Kingdom as I have mentioned before. In order to have that peace that passes all understanding, Isaiah 26:3 ‘You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.’ Everyone needs to have Yeshua walking “with” them every step of the way, because He has overcome the world and is able to guide us in such a way that we will be able to make the right decisions that cause us to overcome the world as well. We, in this condition, will be able to resist things that would cause us to stumble and fall.
