“Like – Us”

one of us

Genesis 3:22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us

Once Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, they had become aware of many things which they had not been aware of until that moment; things that obviously this Entity of the Godhead already was aware of.  We are aware from scripture that God is a Spirit and obviously He can manifest in the natural or physical world in other forms such as fire as in the Moses and the burning bush episode.

What has been bothering me is the wording in Genesis one and three of God being “US”. And as I read this passage this morning, it just jumped out at me again, “like one of Us”. I fully understand the concept of myself being like God with a body, a soul and a spirit that we, us, are made up of these different parts but when I have a child, I am not going to say, look, he is like one of me, I am going to say, look what we have begotten because it is the result of myself and my wife that have begotten the child and he is like one of “us”. “We” are two separate personalities with one mind that have joined ourselves together to conceive a child. I suppose at that point, we become one as the word says but “we” are still two entities. Thus I am still looking at the Godhead as several beings with one common mindset to create and watch over us. Am I making any sense or am I off my rocker so to speak? If anyone has any thoughts or care to give me any feedback, please feel free, I am open to listening.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

2Corinthians 4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Unless I write my thoughts down, they are unseen, invisible are they not. Again, unless I act upon my thoughts, they remain in an unseen realm and yet the Lord of Glory says that as a man thinks, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7) I happen to think that I want the world to understand that there are consequences to their actions. In my mind, I know that there is a Godly realm and a satanic realm of unseen forces all around us and the one we focus on is the one that moves us to be and do as we do. I have a very vivid imagination of both of these realms and in the end of all things and I assure you, I have no desire to end up in that Lake of Fire which was specifically designed for Satan and the angels who follow him. It is my desire to do all I know to do to get everyone to follow after the One and only true God of Creation and avoid the destruction that follows after the satanic world. Elohim is the God of Creations Heavenly Kingdom of Love and Allah is the god of destruction, stealing, killing and destroying which will end up in the Lake of Fire to be eternally tormented with no way out, ever. Please, consider carefully which road you are traveling on, I consider it quite often and attempt to stay out of the hands of the evil one. The Bible is my instruction manual, there is so very much we all need to know about that unseen realm that we will all come face to face with when we leave this earth suit behind. We need to consider carefully our path that we travel and its destination.

“One God”

Genesis 1:26a+27 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; – So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them

I am back in Genesis one yet again, I cannot seem to shake these first couple chapters in the Bible. Since I live, not only in Israel, but in Jerusalem, I see so much of the Hebrew way of defining God and the scriptures. I bought the book by Johnathan Cahn, “The Book of Mysteries” and in it; there is a chapter that talks about Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created” but in the Hebrew, God is a plural word but created is a singular word. Now he, Johnathan, says that what that implies is that this God is unfathomable, infinite, but the things created are finite. Now, I look at the scripture I have used above and I see that He has made “man” in His image, He is a plural being since the use of “Let Us make” and “in Our image”. Now that always gave me the impression that the man was a triune being, Body, Soul and Spirit which leads me to believe that this God is a triune being, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Now I want to look at man again, where did Eve come from? She came from the inside of man and as it says in the scripture here used “He created him; male and female”. I am not in any way trying to get into gender identity as the world has so falsely tried to corrupt this Godly order. In a sense, we all have a male attribute and a female attribute within our brains, our souls yet we are one. We apply strength and power and yet display gentleness and compassion; we are one as He is one and in what sense is God both male and female? I am beginning to think He is the totality of everything. I guess He is all we can think and much, much more.

Possibly more on this at a later date, stay tuned …..
