Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
Yes, yet another dream as the scriptures proclaim about old men: I was in a rugged mountainous forest and I could see in the distance at the top of a small mountain, yet much higher than a very high hill but probably accessible in a day or twos journey. As I climbed up this forested mountain, I could see at the top, stone figures of what looked like angels. When I arrived, I grabbed hold of the stone work and slid my hand over the top of one of the figures expecting to find a treasure. I was fairly careful as I did not want to topple the figure over or be surprised by some hidden venomous creature. There was nothing there except some sand and dust. As I moved around the figures, there were two or three stone angels, I came upon an area of lush beauty with people in bright colors dancing and enjoying the day as there was a banquet taking place with festivities. I remember seeing one girl who had just come out of a spring of water and being exhilarated at the fact that she had just turned eight years old. Everyone was so very happy for her and the party continued. I was, as usual with a camera and had just been told that this was a very special day, the name of which I did not really catch, but important none the less as there would be signs in the heavens with colored clouds and shapes. As I stood on a small hillside there, through the trees, I could see the clouds being whipped around into shapes of people in bright colors. I started taking pictures and people kept getting in the way of a clear view. I kept moving around but by the time I was in a good position, the show was over. Then I noticed that there were many flowers in the area the variety of which I had never seen before but extremely beautiful, lots of white and yellows. I remember thinking I hope I do not run out of film but then realized I had a digital camera of the larger format, like a Rolleiflex or Hasselblad.
I had awakened a couple of times during this lengthy dream but the dream always continued as I fell back asleep until it was time to rise in the morning. I felt that I must write this dream down for whatever it may mean. If anyone has any kind of interpretation for me, I should be blessed to hear.
As I sat eating breakfast, there is a flowered plant on the table and as I looked at it, I thought that all the beautiful flowers that God has created here on this earth are just very tiny hints of what the Lord has in store for us as we go to be with Him. Even with my wild imagination, I can envision but a poor thought of what it might look like. As I thought about this, I thought of how even what we have here must be given sunlight and water or it will die. Immediately as the thought crossed my mind, a flower fell off onto the table and died. It felt like God was listening to my thoughts. I know He is real and I am anxious to meet Him face to face.
These little beauties are about the size of a U.S. ten cent piece.
Ephesians 3:10 that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known
As the Lord God of creation has spoken to me in revelation upon my being baptized in the Holy Spirit in January of 1983, I am to be a witness to what I see, both in my Spirit and in the natural world around me. And, what I see around me is the manifold wisdom of this Creator God Who does all things to perfection. I am continually amazed at the simplicity and complexity of the flower world. Just one example, if I may, a flower, as I have stated before, has both male and female parts and bees have a role to play in the fertilization of a flower. If one looks at this one flower pictured, the male part is the five little yellow stems, the male part, surrounding the center which is the ovary of the flower. That longer stem coming out of the center is the female part of the flower. The bee comes along and as it is getting the stuff it wants from the flower, its legs are brushing against the surrounding stems and accidentally brushing that pollen against the female stem at the center, thereby fertilizing the ovary which will develop the seed for its offspring. And, at the same time, the bee gets things it needs to survive and flourish. How ingenious is that?
Another great example is trees; they exist by requiring carbon dioxide, (obtained from us) sunshine and water and at the same time produce oxygen which we require to survive. The tree goes on to produce seeds which it drops into the ground around the tree which produce its offspring. Also, as the leaves of trees die, they fall to the ground around the tree to produce the fertilizer to refresh the life of the tree. There are so many more aspects to flowers and trees that I am totally unaware of; I am sure, but that which I am aware of causes me to be in awe of this marvelous Creator God. I cannot, in my heart, expect this to have come about through evolution as some are willing to accept. One must look at the entire picture, not just the parts that fit some flawed incomplete theory. When I look at the whole of all there is and all its remarkable relationships, I cannot do any other than believe in an awesome Creator who has thought of all the tiniest details in everything.
