As I sat eating breakfast, there is a flowered plant on the table and as I looked at it, I thought that all the beautiful flowers that God has created here on this earth are just very tiny hints of what the Lord has in store for us as we go to be with Him. Even with my wild imagination, I can envision but a poor thought of what it might look like. As I thought about this, I thought of how even what we have here must be given sunlight and water or it will die. Immediately as the thought crossed my mind, a flower fell off onto the table and died. It felt like God was listening to my thoughts. I know He is real and I am anxious to meet Him face to face.
These little beauties are about the size of a U.S. ten cent piece.
Ephesians 3:10 that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known
As the Lord God of creation has spoken to me in revelation upon my being baptized in the Holy Spirit in January of 1983, I am to be a witness to what I see, both in my Spirit and in the natural world around me. And, what I see around me is the manifold wisdom of this Creator God Who does all things to perfection. I am continually amazed at the simplicity and complexity of the flower world. Just one example, if I may, a flower, as I have stated before, has both male and female parts and bees have a role to play in the fertilization of a flower. If one looks at this one flower pictured, the male part is the five little yellow stems, the male part, surrounding the center which is the ovary of the flower. That longer stem coming out of the center is the female part of the flower. The bee comes along and as it is getting the stuff it wants from the flower, its legs are brushing against the surrounding stems and accidentally brushing that pollen against the female stem at the center, thereby fertilizing the ovary which will develop the seed for its offspring. And, at the same time, the bee gets things it needs to survive and flourish. How ingenious is that?
Another great example is trees; they exist by requiring carbon dioxide, (obtained from us) sunshine and water and at the same time produce oxygen which we require to survive. The tree goes on to produce seeds which it drops into the ground around the tree which produce its offspring. Also, as the leaves of trees die, they fall to the ground around the tree to produce the fertilizer to refresh the life of the tree. There are so many more aspects to flowers and trees that I am totally unaware of; I am sure, but that which I am aware of causes me to be in awe of this marvelous Creator God. I cannot, in my heart, expect this to have come about through evolution as some are willing to accept. One must look at the entire picture, not just the parts that fit some flawed incomplete theory. When I look at the whole of all there is and all its remarkable relationships, I cannot do any other than believe in an awesome Creator who has thought of all the tiniest details in everything.
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
I am amazed; I had no idea about the birds and the bees as it were. Did that get your attention? I did not know that a flower has a male part and a female part. The female part is the “Pistil” and at the other end of that at the base of this part, is an ovary. The male part is the “Stamen” which produces the pollen. We know that bees and etc. collect the pollen and then deposit it on another flower in the Pistil. The pollen travels down the Pistil Style to the ovary and eventually the ovary swells and produces a seed that will eventually get planted when this flower dies and eventually we have another or many new plants just like the first one.
How amazing is it that this Creator has given us so many clues in the natural surroundings that point to exactly what Yeshua did on that cross as reported in Isaiah 53. His death was the beginning of so many more that would become like Him and carry on the work of planting and reaping fruit after His own kind.
Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
