1 Corinthians 11:12  For as the woman originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman; and all things originate from God.

I was sitting on the bus a little while ago and as I traveled home, I was looking at the faces of all the people that surrounded me. I had the thought that I just wanted to share; every person on this planet looks different than every other person on this planet, even twins will have some small insignificant difference that may not be noticeable. It is much like snowflakes, as they fall from the sky, they all look pretty much the same but when put to the test, they are all different yet the same. It is the design of the designer who has a mind that outshines even the best of us. This Creator Designer is beyond awesome. And then you take these seven billion people and if you examined their lives and what they think, you would find seventy times seventy billion differences.

Every person on this planet is unique, and the God of creation has designed each one for a different purpose. Because He, the Designer, has given each one free will, we do not see a perfect world. There are billions who have decided to follow the broad road of self-determination that leads to destruction. It is a bit like building a house without looking at the blueprint.

The Creator wants all of us to enjoy what He has in store for us in His Kingdom but along the way, we must follow the road laid out that leads there. There is only one road that leads across the great divide and on all other roads, the bridge is out. Yeshua (Jesus) is the only way, He said so Himself when He came to earth to instruct and save us; John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”  The Bible has made it quite clear that He wants all of us to come to Him for that peace, love and eternal rest.

Let Light Shine

Matthew 5:16  Jesus said, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

As I was seeking the Lord for today’s message, this is what came to me. And even after the scripture, I thought of a picture of a chandelier which I had taken a photograph of yesterday but as I turned to Photoshop to pull up the photo and crop it, the Lord caused me to see the simple picture of this rose. As I contemplated this photo, I felt the Lord was saying that He wanted me to use something ordinary whose beauty causes some to stop and take notice. Now I believe this is what He wants to say: “You may think you are just ordinary but this awesome God can cause you to be a light that shines in this dark world to draw people to Him.” The key, I believe is to live your life in His presence and He will do the rest.

“First Born Son, Yeshua”

Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

The Son of God, who came to set us free is Himself humbly born through a young girl and His bed is a feeding troth for sheep. He cannot feed Himself, He cannot wipe His own bottom, He is completely helpless as are all newborn children. Miriam must change and wash Him as she would any child because He is utterly helpless to fend for Himself. The Son of God has placed Himself at the mercy of mortal man from the beginning. This is a King, a Priest of Royal lineage even here. What shall we say, how can we fathom the event. This is such an awesome event in the history of mankind. And Miriam had been asked, “Are you willing?”

From the very beginning, we are given free will and it continues even to this very day, “Are you willing to give Yeshua a birthplace in your heart?” He was willing to be dependent on us, are we willing to be dependent on Him? Really, there is nothing to lose and everything to gain.
