Lost and Found

Sheep of Israel

Matthew 14:24 “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

It has come to me quite unexpectedly as I was pondering the magnitude of diversity and the glory that this awesome God puts in flowers, that the Messiah was born as a Jew and came expressly to minister to the Jewish nation of Israel. The Father God has chosen the people of Israel to show the world His love, kindness, justice and attributes through. It all started with this one man called Abram way back in Chapter 12 of Genesis. Genesis 12:1-4 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.  I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”  So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. And God made covenants (promises that could not be broken) with Abram that still hold true to this day. We are talking about four thousand years ago as we count time. The old testament of the bible is a written testimony of His dealings with this people. Then, in what is called the new testament of the bible, He sent His Son Yeshua (Jesus, was or is the Gentile version of His Jewish name) to testify about the goodness of His Father God to the people He had chosen. And why did the people flock to Him, because He did give testimony of the goodness of His Father.

Now, as the Holy Spirit showed me this morning, He testified about the Christian church that wanted to take the Glory for themselves. Matthew 21:33-41 Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit.  And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another.  Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’  But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’  So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.  “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?” 41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”  Now I ask, why is there so much anti-Semitism in the Christian church and community? As I see it, the Christian church has bought into the lie that it has replaced Israel; they have taken the vineyard away from God’s chosen people and said effectively, ‘How dare He choose the Jewish people.’ Romans Chapter eleven needs to be fully understood by the church as a whole today. Fortunately there are a few who have grasped this understanding and support Israel and its people.

Heaven – Above

Door to Heaven

Genesis 28:10-22 Now, Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; (Could this be from the physical to the Spiritual realm?) and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!” Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. And he called the name of that place Bethel; (that is, House of God) but the name of that city had been Luz previously. Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

I think I am starting to get the picture and a lot more understanding. This search is becoming a real trip. So very many scriptures are coming into place and I have no desire to stop. More tomorrow!

Under Construction

Under Construction

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

It occurs to me that the Creator who is the architect of our frame and everything else that makes up this dwelling place of what is us, is constantly watching our progress in building what He has designed. It is for our mutual benefit that He is desirous of. He is zealous for us to have the peace and joy and life that He enjoys. In Him there is no fear or worry or anxiety, but perfect peace. He is in the process of helping us complete an absolutely beautiful place where we can commune together.

We are, under construction.
