Two Trees – Two Peoples – Two Gods

Two Trees-Two Peoples-Two Gods

Genesis 2:9  The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

As I sat on my balcony in Jerusalem this afternoon, I was looking at the two trees that are in my neighbor’s yard. One of them is dead and has been dead for a long time. The other is alive and thriving and they are rooted right next to each other. (The photo above is the two trees without the dwelling and roof litter visible.) As I looked, I felt that the Lord was speaking to me about the situation we find ourselves embroiled in here in Israel with the two people groups who live side by side. We have the Jewish people and we have a ‘so called’ Palestinian people. The one people group, Jewish, celebrate life, the other, the Palestinian people group, who celebrate death. The one group wants to see the other dead and is attempting to do this one death at a time. The other group is in the process of trying to cause the other to live and thrive. This in essence is the issue here in Israel as I and the Jewish people see it. The one says they want a two state solution which in reality is a lie as they really want a one state solution without the Jewish state in existence. This was evident from the very day back in 1948 when Israel became a state.

But, you see, we have a third problem, the God of the Muslim and the God of the Jew. The one is a God who celebrates death and the other celebrates life. Satan, Lucifer, the devil was thrown out of God’s presence because he wanted to be exalted higher than the God of Creation. He is determined to take as many of Elohim’s people with him as he will eventually be thrown into that lake of fire for his eternal damnation.

As I look at the world today, I can see so very clearly that broad road that leads to death and eternal torment and that narrow road that leads to life and eternal happiness. The gate to that narrow way is in non-other than Yeshua Ha Machiah, Jesus the Christ. He is the only one who can validate our ticket to Heavenly joy. There are many who will try to seduce us into another false gospel, do not be deceived; there is only one Yeshua, son of the living God who has the ability to carry us into eternal salvation.

At the Western Wall

Mark 7:6-7 “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.  And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

If we look in the New Testament when Yeshua roamed this earth in Israel, we find the orthodox leaders were the ones who had a problem with Him. This statement above is only one of the reasons why He is still scorned by the “religious leaders” today. While I was in the States for a few years, I would go to Synagogue on Saturdays and sit with the Rabbi as we discussed the old Covenant each week. The Rabbis brother would come on occasion and it shocked me one Saturday when he said that he followed the tradition of the Jewish people but he did not believe in God. I suppose that this alone may be one reason how the Jewish people may have survived all these centuries against the most awesome odds, their tradition. I could see the sincerity of their heart in community living together under the same awesome tradition as each synagogue would read successive portions of the Word each and every week in their worldwide Synagogues. It seems to be the interpretation of these portions that sometimes goes astray from the biblical meaning or intent, thus, Yeshua was an offence and still is.

In the New Testament days, if one were to become a follower of Yeshua, he would be put out of the synagogue and today, if a true Jewish person, through bloodline, believes in Yeshua, he is no longer considered a Jew. One can believe in Buddha or Mary or any other of the “so called” deities but Yeshua… limits. Well did Isaiah prophesy in Chapter 6:9-10 And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’  “Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.”

I feel, the time is very near for this people to have the veil removed and thus, see and hear and to understand as the Creator God finally opens their eyes. Israel is supposed to be a Light to the nations glorifying their God in every respect.

The Common Denominator

Psalm 139:7-10 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.

The thing that occurs to me is that “I AM” is a now statement, it is not I WAS or I WILL BE but, I AM. At every moment of every day, He is there at all times, wherever we are, He is there. He is omnipresent. This Creator knows us right well, He knows when we get up and when we lie down. It is like we are inside His head and He is inside ours. I have so many thoughts about this wonderful Creator, I hardly know where to stop or start or continue and sometimes to back-up and take yet another look at what I just thought. This marvelous Creator has our best interest at heart; He wants each and every one on the planet to have a blessed and prosperous life and as I have said so many times, wants us to spend eternity with Him on the new earth and the New Jerusalem. All that is necessary is to follow the book of instruction. Amen!
