“Wilderness Journey”

wilderness

Deuteronomy 8:2  You shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

“This wilderness is where it is only God who can cause us to survive for a lifetime, if we will listen.”

As I was doing my morning reading in the Word of God, I came across Deuteronomy 8 where the children of Israel were in the wilderness and The God of Heaven was talking with them about their situation and where they were. But, He was also speaking of where they were headed, the Promised Land.

It occurs to me that, in a sense, the Lord has brought us all out of the womb, a sort of entrapment, into a world of harshness and unforgivness. The earth life is to try us and test us to see what is in our hearts. He, God, intends to bring us all into the ‘Promised Land’ but first, He must, He must know what is in our heart, do we want what He has to offer or do we want to follow our own way? That Promised Land is His Kingdom of Heaven but, it is surrounded by high walls and gates of pearl to keep out those who are not of the right heart and mind to enjoy its rules of order and purity of spirit.

It is this wilderness journey where we find ourselves today, where, according to His Word in the scriptures that, if we listen to His voice, He has promised to give us everything we need to prosper and be in health. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. This life which is God given is a wilderness journey to get us to the Promised Land where He will give us the new bodies that will conform to His Kingdom Paradise.

I encourage you to read Deuteronomy 8. Actually, the whole Bible is your guide to Paradise.

“Made Alive”

Made Alive

Ephesians 1:18-20 having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places

The following is a revelation given to me in the night as I slept and was awakened several times with this understanding. I am not so sure I can do this in a few words to make it understandable as well as have the awesome impact that it had on me. The story starts in the Garden of Eden when God said to Adam Genesis 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die. However, it appears that they did not actually die but ended up being cast out of the garden and continued to live for over 900 years. Now, since God does not lie, where did the death take place? The death took place in the spirit of man and I will show you what this God of Creation showed me in the night.

This now is an aside to the revelation but important as a background to what God showed me. You see, Adam walked in the Spirit with God and communicated with Him over a long, long period of time since he was formed as an eternal being; there was no such thing as death in the Garden. He quite probably talked with all the animals and understood all their characteristics as well as his own. He spent time learning all about everything God had created. If the scientists are right and the earth is something like 14.3 billion years old then, in my mind, Adam could have easily been something like 14 billion years old before Eve and he were tempted to eat of the forbidden fruit. And yes, I believe God created all as it states in Genesis one in the six days just like it says in the bible, but time as we know it was installed by God when Adam left the Garden. But the death that occurred was in the Spirit of man, and from that point, when he was cast out of the Garden, time actually began. Adam died physically some 900 or so years later.

Now to the things I was shown; when a baby is in the womb, it is in an embryonic sac of fluid and all its needs are met through the umbilical cord kind of just like Adam in the Garden of Eden. Everything it needs to live and grow is provided through this cord from the mother. In a sense, the child is like being in a Garden of Eden. Of course we realize that this womb garden also has the mother’s problems as she is a fallen creature as we all are after Adams disobedience. Thus, the disinheritance from the Spirit still exists. When the child is born, that umbilical cord is cut and it now must survive outside of the garden, so to speak. I know that this God of Creation loves every one of us and actually woos us back to His presence in various ways. Some will take the step and actually believe the sacrifice which Yeshua made on that cross of Calvary to wipe away the effects of Adams fall, (that spiritual disinheritance in us) and become what has been called, “Born Again” in the Spirit. We really do get a rebirth into Gods Kingdom through this Spiritual birth. It is a reconnection with God so that we can walk and talk with Him through this Spiritual dimension and one day, we will shed this earth suit and actually enter His domain and live an eternal life of amazing glory. He really has given all the opportunity to live again because He really did design us to be with Him.
