John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Martyrdom stories associated with various Valentines connected to February 14 are presented in martyrologies, including a written account of Saint Valentine of Rome imprisonment for performing weddings for soldiers, who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians persecuted under the Roman Empire. According to legend, during his imprisonment Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his judge, and before his execution he wrote her a letter signed “Your Valentine” as a farewell. From what I have read, Valentinus (Latin spelling) was a Roman Catholic Priest or Bishop.
With all that is written in these days, the days we live in, there is one undeniable truth that has endured the centuries and is still as valid as the day it was presented and that is in the life of Yeshua, the Messiah of not only Israel but of the entire world of human beings. In the Bible, it states in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” In a sense, the Creator of everything there is, is coming to you today (and every day) and asking you to be His valentine, He wants to give you all the love He has to offer if you will accept His request to come away with Him for eternity. He wants to give you a life that is far beyond anything you could ever dream of or comprehend. It is true and He is asking YOU.

1 Corinthians 11:12 For as the woman originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman; and all things originate from God.
I was sitting on the bus a little while ago and as I traveled home, I was looking at the faces of all the people that surrounded me. I had the thought that I just wanted to share; every person on this planet looks different than every other person on this planet, even twins will have some small insignificant difference that may not be noticeable. It is much like snowflakes, as they fall from the sky, they all look pretty much the same but when put to the test, they are all different yet the same. It is the design of the designer who has a mind that outshines even the best of us. This Creator Designer is beyond awesome. And then you take these seven billion people and if you examined their lives and what they think, you would find seventy times seventy billion differences.
Every person on this planet is unique, and the God of creation has designed each one for a different purpose. Because He, the Designer, has given each one free will, we do not see a perfect world. There are billions who have decided to follow the broad road of self-determination that leads to destruction. It is a bit like building a house without looking at the blueprint.
The Creator wants all of us to enjoy what He has in store for us in His Kingdom but along the way, we must follow the road laid out that leads there. There is only one road that leads across the great divide and on all other roads, the bridge is out. Yeshua (Jesus) is the only way, He said so Himself when He came to earth to instruct and save us; John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” The Bible has made it quite clear that He wants all of us to come to Him for that peace, love and eternal rest.

Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.
I have to say at the beginning of this journal entry, it is not my desire to cause Jewish people to become Christian, but to cause Jewish people to see their Messiah. It is also my desire that all races should come to know and accept Yeshua/Jesus into their lives and hearts. I discovered Him (the Creator God) some 55 years ago while serving in the U.S. Air Force. I met Him in a small church in Maple Valley, Washington. I was there looking for a nice girl but when the alter call came, the God of Creation spoke clearly to me that I would not get another chance to receive Him. Since that time, I have come many times close to death but eluded the enemy of my soul because God has called me to be a witness for Him, not so much with pen and parchment but with a camera. (This is why I always include a photo with anything God has for me to say).
Thus, I am trusting that in the year 2019, I will have much to say to glorify my Savior and relate anything else He may have to impress me with. So, “Good-By 2018” and I look forward to an eventful 2019 with Him. Blessings to all who follow this post and may you all have a fruitful New Year.
