Cause and Effect

Cause and Effect

1 Kings 18:21 “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him;

but if Baal (i.e. Satan), follow him.”

There are two major players in the game of life; one is the God of Creation and the forming of man on the earth: The other is Satan, the deceiver. There is the big “G” God and the little ”g” god. The big “G” God of Creation is the one who has created everything in the natural, the universe we live in, the fruit that we eat and the ground that we walk on. He is the one who, when He had created and formed everything that He had done, He looked at it and called it “good”. He is the God who gives us life and all things “good”. There is another god out there who is a deceiver and a liar and a thief, he has come to steal, kill and destroy everything that is good. It is he who wants to corrupt everything good and calls good, bad and calls bad, good. It is he who is a liar and a thief. It is he who wants you to follow him to his fiery end. This god with a little g is the one who leads you to believe that if it feels good, do it. It is that little g god who changes the laws of the Creator God.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.

When one looks at the Bible and sees what it says about today’s society, one can easily see why the fallen society hates the Christian, it does not want to know where the works of Satan are leading them. I feel so very sorry for the end that society is being led into. There is a remedy but one needs to want the end result more than the immediate unholy pleasure. As stated at the beginning, If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal (i.e. Satan), follow him.” And this merciful God goes even further;

Deuteronomy 30:19  I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

Yes! We all have a choice to make and this loving God wants you to make a good choice. As I look at the condition of the world today, I see just as Yeshua said, “It will be like the days of Noah.”

We are living in the “End Times”.

Emmaus Road

Road to Emmaus?

Luke 24:25-27 Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!  Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?”  And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

As I was doing my morning reading of the word, it happened that I was to read Psalm 22. The very 1st verse struck me like a hammer, what was it that Yeshua said on the cross just before He died? He stated the very first words of Psalm 22, “My God, My God, Why have you forsaken Me?” Did He say this because He was beginning to doubt what He was in the middle of accomplishing for the human race, or was He pointing to the words of King David and Psalm 22? This Psalm which begins with these very words, are giving a complete description of exactly what was happening to Him at that very moment. It was almost a cry to the people standing there to look at the verification of what is happening here; this Psalm and all the other things that have been written of Me are your verification of who I am. In other words, I AM who I say I AM, the most High God in your midst accomplishing everything I have told my prophets to write about Me. If you will read the Word, you will see Me everywhere.

And then when He broke bread with them on this Emmaus road journey, their eyes were opened and they rushed back to Jerusalem to inform the other disciples what He had told them and I am sure, they expounded all that Moses and the prophets had written about Him. From that point on, there was no doubt in any mind, He was the long awaited for Messiah and they knew they had to tell the people how they had actually fulfilled the scriptures in sending Him to death on the cross.

So the day is coming when the Jewish people will see the one they have pierced and mourn for Him as an only son, as it says in Zechariah 12, what an awesome day that will be. Yes, life from death, the eyes of all Israel will be finally opened. This will be the fulfillment of prophetic scripture. Now, the Messiah can return in Glory.

Lost and Found

Sheep of Israel

Matthew 14:24 “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

It has come to me quite unexpectedly as I was pondering the magnitude of diversity and the glory that this awesome God puts in flowers, that the Messiah was born as a Jew and came expressly to minister to the Jewish nation of Israel. The Father God has chosen the people of Israel to show the world His love, kindness, justice and attributes through. It all started with this one man called Abram way back in Chapter 12 of Genesis. Genesis 12:1-4 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.  I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”  So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. And God made covenants (promises that could not be broken) with Abram that still hold true to this day. We are talking about four thousand years ago as we count time. The old testament of the bible is a written testimony of His dealings with this people. Then, in what is called the new testament of the bible, He sent His Son Yeshua (Jesus, was or is the Gentile version of His Jewish name) to testify about the goodness of His Father God to the people He had chosen. And why did the people flock to Him, because He did give testimony of the goodness of His Father.

Now, as the Holy Spirit showed me this morning, He testified about the Christian church that wanted to take the Glory for themselves. Matthew 21:33-41 Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit.  And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another.  Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’  But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’  So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.  “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?” 41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”  Now I ask, why is there so much anti-Semitism in the Christian church and community? As I see it, the Christian church has bought into the lie that it has replaced Israel; they have taken the vineyard away from God’s chosen people and said effectively, ‘How dare He choose the Jewish people.’ Romans Chapter eleven needs to be fully understood by the church as a whole today. Fortunately there are a few who have grasped this understanding and support Israel and its people.
