“Israel”

2 Samuel 7:22-24 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemed to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee forever: and thou, Lord, art become their God.

My day starts with a Bible reading and today, Jerusalem day, this was a part of my reading and I find it so very marvelous that this awesome God has called me to live in the capital city of His people, a people whom He has reserved for Himself and to show His great power and ability. As Yeshua pointed out to this people when He walked among them, ‘with God, nothing, absolutely nothing, is impossible.’ I have to feel compassion for all the world that is fighting and demeaning the Jewish people as they do not realize that in truth, they fight against this God of Creation and all that He has chosen to do. Anyone who is not on the side of this God is on the losing side forever.

“Consider This”

Ecclesiastes 11:5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind, or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
I get an email from Pnuematic Rain (Ike12Stones) and todays reading had to do with feeling like one is shouting at a wall that does not acknowledge that anyone is speaking to it. I feel like that most of the time but I doggedly persist in speaking whether the wall acknowledges my voice or not. I must unburden myself with the thoughts I have. Somehow, just that fact alone relieves my soul. As all who read my posts know, I am not an accomplished writer by any means but I must persist. Sometimes I feel like I am on board the Titanic knowing that it is going to sink and hundreds of lives are going to be taken away shortly. This world is much like that in that soon, it is going to hit the proverbial iceberg and many are going to be lost eternally.

My heart is burdened with the thought that there are so very many people who do not realize that there is a lifeboat that has been prepared for such a time as this. The name on that lifeboat is “Yeshua” better known to those in the West as Jesus. You see, the God of Creation, all that we see in this physical realm has a boat and lifejacket with everyone’s personal name on it. This Creator God is more than just a name or figment of imagination. He is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, He has created so very much more than we can see with the physical eye, some of which would terrify us and so much more that would cause us to desire. He is a personal Creator who wants everyone to survive the coming sinking of this grand ship. The answer to every heart that wants to survive has been provided and it is not a myth, it is real, more real than any one of us can fully understand, and the name is Yeshua. He is the only answer to all the questions, all the problems and all the misunderstandings as well.

My request, take time today to consider the reality of the ship we are on and get the “life”jacket so that you will survive into the Creators new world. No, it is not todays ‘new world order’.

“Sittin in the Sun”

Psalm 113:3 From the rising of the sun to its going down the Lord’s name is to be praised.

I was sitting on our patio this morning enjoying the beautiful sunshine and warmer day and this melody came into my mind from back in the Fifties, “Sittin in the Sun”;

Sittin in the sun countin my money fanned by a summer breeze
Sweeter than honey’s countin my money, those greenbacks on the trees
Comes a summer shower drops of rain fallin sweeter than Christmas chimes
Hearin those jingles upon the roof shingles like pennies, nickels and dimes
Though it’s known that all I own is not a large amount
Those fields of gold that I behold are in my bank account
And when the shadows fall I look to heaven and I see
A silver dollar in the sky shinin down on me.

Even in this serious worldwide epidemic, I feel so absolutely blessed to be living to see all this as I know that the Lord, Yeshua is soon to be returning to this earth. What an awesome day that is going to be. It will be the most wonderful and yet the most terrible day this world will see. I think of the day Moses stood at the foot of the mountain and God spoke to all the people through the fire and smoke on that mountain and the land shook and the people begged that He would only speak through Moses from that time on.

Exodus 19:16-20a Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain.                                 What an awesome terrible sight to behold…….
