“Addicted”

Addicted-#1

Job 37:14 “Listen to this, O Job; Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.”

I have to confess that I am addicted to the wondrous works of God. Here in Israel, we are confined to our apartment but fortunately, we are living on the ground floor with a patio and garden which no one else enters except for the three of us who live here. And we have several areas which need watering from time to time as well as looking after. Of course since I am constantly looking for new photos, our garden is the only place I can find the wondrous works. Thus, my specimens for today.
I am constantly amazed at all the varieties and designs of flowers and there are thousands of creations which I have yet to discover. I love to go to greenhouses and look at all the different things I have never seen before and to be honest I quite frequently run across something I have yet to photograph. I also am very fortunate that the cell phone I have does such a marvelous job in close-up work.
The bottom line of all this is that I am addicted and I am constantly amazed at God’s handiwork. The intricate formation and design and variety are beyond comprehension as is God Himself. I was reading, this morning from Ezekiel 1 and 2 how the Lord God was so magnificent that he, Ezekiel, was unable to describe accurately what he was seeing. The beginning of chapter two confirms that it was God Himself that he was seeing and listening to.
I have read many accounts of people who have had near death experiences where they were caught up to Heaven and described what they were witnessing and I try but cannot fully grasp what it or He must be like.
I look at the human body and all its individual parts such as the eye and ear and the design is so very intricate to accomplish is purpose in the body, I am in awe of the Creator. Even just looking at the body that we dwell in is so self-regulating in design, I find it so impossible for anyone to think there is no God or ultimate Creator. Yeah, the birds and the bees and flowers, there is no end to my amazement and to think, I have been called to be a witness to all this.

“Daydreamers or Visionaries”

images (11)

Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

I have been reading and listening via youtube about a Dr. Caroline Leaf and I find a lot of what she has to say actually is in the bible, the above statement from Yeshua being one of them. Here is a bit of a blurb about Dr. Leaf:

Dr. Caroline Leaf is a communication pathologist and cognitive neuroscientist with a Masters and PhD in Communication Pathology and a BSc Logopedics’, specializing in cognitive and metacognitive neuropsychology. Since the early 1980s she has researched the mind-brain connection, the nature of mental health, and the formation of memory. She was one of the first in her field to study how the brain can change (neuroplasticity) with directed mind input.

One of the things I heard recently was that daydreaming is a good thing when it comes to being able believe and to accomplish things or desires in one’s own life. In my last post, from January 17, 2020, I talked about believing with the heart rather than the mind but I now see that the hearts belief actually starts in the mind. Then, as I read this scripture above in Mark 9, I see that Yeshua is talking the same language as what this lady is saying. Actually, science is catching up with what Yeshua was saying in the first place. Daydreamers and visionaries may be one in the same as they are actually believing in something that they can see happening in their minds eye. I think that makes sense. (A quick look at Elon Musk and his visionary accomplishments show the truth in this idea, I think.)

I think we are all aware that 2020 is a new day and we all are going to see marvelous things happening this year and onward. ONLY BELIEVE !

“The Appearance”

Beginning a New Day

Revelation 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

It was rather amazing to me that I had never, in all the many times I have read the book of Revelation, framed any kind of mental picture of what I was reading. But, this morning, it had a definite effect on me as I looked with my mind’s eye visualizing what I was reading. The absolute awesomeness of what the apostle John was seeing in the Spirit must have brought him to his knees in appearance. Funny, I am not an artist with paint and brush but I immediately wanted to paint what I was seeing in the Spirit.

My first thought then was, what does a jasper and sardine stone look like so I Googled them and came up with jasper as a red or red brown color and the sardine stone is a red or red yellow color. My mind went back to Genesis as He fashioned us in His image. Then the rainbow in an emerald color is shades of green. I have to say that this image presented in Revelation 4 has blown me away.

I have, for years, been overcome with the awesome Creator for all that He can and does do but now, what authority He has and wields in our lives. Yes, I feel as though I was really in the Spirit and seeing all that John describes in this one chapter of Revelation. This has taken my breath away.

And, one day, when this earthly life is over, we, each and every one, will stand in that presence on a sea of glass like crystal as He pronounces the reality of all we have ever thought and done. The phrase that comes to me is, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” I am so grateful that I have had this experience today and that I had the ability to share it.
