“Light = Understanding”

Door-02

Genesis 1:3-5 God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

John 12:35 Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

The light that we see from the sun or electric lights or the like, is not what the God of Creation did on the first day of creation. The very first thing He did was to give understanding to all that He was about to create. And at the appointed time, He sent Jesus/Yeshua, a physical manifestation of Understanding into the world to enlighten the people. Darkness therefor is a lack of understanding of the Creators intent. John 1:5 the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

When a baby is born, it is born with little or no understanding of the world around it and therefore must learn from its surroundings and parents how to cope with its environment. The journey in the dark continues until it becomes aware that there is another invisible Kingdom that is actually the one he or she was born to eventually exist in. If that individual continues to walk in that lack of understanding (light) they end up without hope. Job 7:6 “My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and are spent without hope….”  We are lost without that understanding of the Kingdom that brought us into existence and Jesus/Yeshua was the only one sent to give us that understanding. He is the only way, the only door into the Fathers House. The God of Creation is the Father of us all and there are many who refuse to accept this and take what was provided and squander it on a world that is destined to destruction.
