“The Garden”

Isaiah 1:18  “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

One might truly ask, what has this scripture to do with this picture? Well, not immediately but what is in store. Jennifer, my wife and I have moved yet once again. We are expecting that this will be our last move till we go to glory. But we now have possibilities for a real garden of sorts. We are well aware of the condition and work that will be involved in turning these areas into something we can appreciate and will be inviting to all who commune with us.

As I was looking out the window at the garden area on the left of the two pictures above, I saw a white patch just under the window and wondered as to what kind of trash had drifted into the area. Thus, I went out to see and get rid of the stuff only to find that our Lord had given us a sign of His love and care. This is what I found and could hardly believe the radiant beauty of this lovely gem and the above scripture immediately came to mind.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

The natural world around us far outshines the human race in general. As I look at this flower which has its faults, it is still radiating the glory of its Creator in beauty. What a glorious world we live in with all its beauty and color and fragrances. And to think, as the bible teaches, the Eternal world which Believers in Yeshua will inherit, will make this natural world look like a garbage can as Keith Green used to say.

As I look around at the human world, I can see that we are fast fulfilling the prophesy of Yeshua when He said that in the last days, it would be like the days of Noah. Genesis 6:5-6 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. And at that time, He found Noah who was a righteous man and had him build an ark to save himself, his family and animals by number as He was about to destroy the corruption of the world. Romans 1:26-28   For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Enough said, I rest my case for the time being…..

“Infinity”

Rose Drops

1Kings 8:27 “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You.
What on earth does this picture have to do with Infinity? This morning, I was contemplating the awesome infinite beauty of the Creator of all we have surrounding us. I look at these drops of water and think of how incredible water is and that we ourselves are made up of some 70 some odd percent water. The earth is covered with it and there is probably more intelligence in just one drop of it than we can begin to fathom.

Then I look at this fruit that just grows of itself on a tree and one can just pick it off the tree and eat it. Have we ever noticed that it is pre-wrapped, and pre-sliced? I mean, how awesome is that? I am continually overwhelmed by this Creator God who wants a relationship with such as me.
And to top that off, He has chosen a few people to write a book of instructions at His dictation on how to get along with each other and how to get into that other Kingdom which He has designed that out surpasses this one. He has also given instructions on how to heal oneself when things go wrong. I just had a cancerous lump appear on my arm about two months ago. I had it biopsied by a surgeon to find out what it was. It came to be about the size of a lemon just above my elbow. Through the instruction book, it says to speak to it and cast it away. Thus for about a week, feeling a tiny bit silly, I spoke to this lump that it did not belong to me and that it should just shrivel up and die and that is exactly what it did, all I have left is the soft scab that it left behind and I am in the process of just telling that to fall off and get out of my life.
We have an awesome Creator God who wants us to live with Him in His Kingdom and treat us as His Children and He is a Loving Kind Father who wants nothing but the best for every one of His children. I’m looking forward to an exciting new adventure in His Home.
